Have you checked out the new rendering service from Live Search. Right now, I can view a location (for example a landmark building) in 3D. That will be really cool and useful especially if I’m trying to identify a building in a new area.
So now, I can get the driving directions from one point to another, share it around (email, print and blog) about it and also preview the actual place I will be visiting. Below is a screenshot of an image I took from Live Search of the Seattle Westin Twin Towers!
